Eco-Friendly
LEDs are the most environmentally friendly light source on the planet. Due to the long life expectancy of LEDs, these components are infrequently discarded, reducing the burden of already crowded landfills. Furthermore, LEDs contain none of the mercury found in fluorescent lamps. The Lighting fixtures of LED Smart are also over 95% recyclable, making them a preferred choice for environmentally conscious consumers.

Energy Efficient
LED lights operate at a power consumption of nearly 30% less than fluorescent lights and 120% less than traditional incandescent bulbs, saving over 3,000 times their own weight in greenhouse gases. LEDs emit less heat, concentrate the light at a 120 degree angle from its source, instead of a full 360 degree, generate minimal heat, are vibration and shock resistant, instantly reach maximum output and do not compensate lifetime or brightness in cold temperatures or when cycled on & off repeatedly. (see Lighting Comparisons). LED lights comply with Energy Star requirements.
|
Extremely Long Life
Our premium LEDs can last almost 50 times longer than traditional incandescent light sources (2000 hours) and 5 times longer than fluorescent light sources (10,000 hours). We use only premium high power silicon LEDs that are certified to retain over 80% of their original light brightness after 50,000 hours of use.

Quick & Easy Installation
Our LED light tubes are designed as a direct replacement into any existing fluorescent lamp installation. These LED light tubes operate in conjunction with a power supply. A simple 10 min procedure can easily remove the ballast and install the power supply in its place. Once complete, the LED tubes will fit directly into any sockets within the existing light fixture.

Fit and Forget
LEDs are low maintenance devices, lasting over 50,000 hours without any servicing.
|
Wide range of colors
The basic LED colors are Cool White (5500 K), Neutral White (3500 K), Warm White (2500 K), Blue, Red, Green and Yellow. Within each color ranges a spread of different shades.
|
No color Fade
An LED is designed to emit a specific wavelength of light. This is defined during the LED manufacturing process. To produce a specific color, LEDs do not rely on colored filters, which fade and deteriorate over time.
|
Sealed Units
LEDs do not need to be changed like fluorescent or incandescent bulbs. There is no need for a bulb holder/fitting or need to make the enclosure accessible for changing the bulb. This also makes the unit tamper proof and more vandal resistant. LEDs are solid state devices which have no filaments or glass tubes to break. LEDs are able to withstand extreme temperatures, magnetic environments and there are no moving parts.
|
Low Voltage
The LED light fixture operates at a constant preferred voltage of 24V DC. In conjunction with a power supply, these lamps can be designed to work with any required input voltage.
|
EMI Free
Fluorescent light fixtures in conjunction with its ballast, emit high levels of toxic EMI (radiation) that has been linked with cancer and other medical conditions. Fluorescent lights may also release harmful levels of UV light as the phosphor coating inside the light tubes fades. In contrast, LED lights are EMI free and only emit visible light (no UV).

Safety
Improved safety may be one of the most important benefits of LED lighting. LEDs are a solid state lighting (SSL) that does not crack, break, shatter, or release toxic gas as characteristic of fluorescent light. An LED light is the bi-product of electricity jumping between two different alloys. This produces a small amount of light and depending upon the alloys, the color is dictated. LED light is truly a solid state light as there are no gases, no filaments and no moving parts to fatigue.

No Heat
LED's create a very efficient light source as they convert almost all the energy used into light LED lighting, improving safety and reduces the potential for burns and fires. This means LED lights are cool to the touch and can be left on for hours without incident or consequence if touched. LEDs produce 3.4 btu's/hr (British Thermal Unit) compared to 85 btu's/hr for incandescent bulbs. |
